Can we humbly brag for just a minute? There is so much talent and knowledge in the pipeline risk and integrity arena, and we at Integrity Plus are so honored to play a part in that. We are very proud of the incredibly qualified and intelligent folks on our team driving advancement in the field and we want to share our expertise with you!
Our own David Mangold and Ryan Huntley wrote a paper on estimating the potential impacts of pipeline failure and will be presenting it at the Pipeline Pigging and Integrity Management (PPIM) Conference this week in Houston, TX!
The paper, entitled Estimating the Consequences of Pipeline Failures: A Modern Approach, analyzes advanced methodologies for the evaluation of consequence scenarios. Historically, emphasis has been placed on developing methods to estimate the likelihood of failure from various mechanisms. However, estimating the consequences of such failure is equally critical to the progression of pipeline risk assessment. From modeling the release of a pipeline, to predicting fire and thermal radiation, proper integration and evaluation of these components enables accurate estimation of potential impacts to people, property, and the environment.
To learn more and hear about some examples of the methodologies in action, don’t miss the presentation tomorrow (Thursday, February 11) at 8:30 a.m. CST.
David and Ryan will also be exhibiting in booth #400 for the entirety of the conference. Stop by to discuss risk analysis challenges and solutions, HCA and spill analysis services, regulatory requirements, and more!
